ActiveX Control not Working

Question

I added an ActiveX command button in Excel and assigned a macro/code to it in VBA. However, when I exit Design Mode, the control ignores any mouse click on it.
This happens only when I have the Excel window on a connected monitor. The button works fine when the Excel window is in the laptop screen.

The control does not appear greyed out or disabled.
I set the ActiveX settings to the most relaxed option, i.e. "Enable all controls without restrictions and without prompting..."
I tried with Safe mode checked and unchecked. No difference observed.
In Macro settings I selected "Enable VBA macros"

The button is supposed to just open a Form.

Any ideas? Why the screen on which I work on makes a difference?

Hi Fabian, I had the same bug in my company, in the same case of you. After many tests and manipulations, i finaly find something working (the solution doesn't make sens, but it's working ...). Try to change the font size in the Display Parameters of Windows, for the screen that has the bug. In my case, it resolve the bug. Valentin
