I suggest you press Win + R key to open Run dialog, enter powerpnt /safe, and click OK. This action will run PowerPoint in safe mode, then please open this file for a check. This action can help us troubelshoot the COM add-in.
Besides, please go to File > Open, locate to the file and click on it. Select Open and Repair from the dropdown list of the Open button.
It's also recommended to change the location to store this file for a check , such as the Desktop.
