Configuring Azure Managed Identity to run Shared Dashboard?

I have multiple Azure Shared dashboards that are running on the production subscription.

This account was created by my predecessor by using an Azure cloud-only account with the subscription owner role and not by utilizing a managed identity.

What are the steps involved in configuring and migrating the service account from the cloud-only account with too many privileges to Azure Managed Identity?

I would like to know how the migration process works and what steps are involved.

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A. From Above description I could understand that you have 2 queries:

    1. If AAD Cloud only account could be migrated to user/system assigned identity ?

    No, We could not migrate user/service accounts to Azure managed identity.

    1. To give access to a managed identity you could navigate to managed identity IAM service > select the "Role assignment" > Select the role to be assigned and assign the Role to user /group/service account:
