This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have win 10 64 bit version 1903, all of the other updates mainly security updates are for version 1903.
I have paused updates as it tries to install the above update first and it takes nearly 3 days to download and install as it's in the background and it always fails, if the version number is correct can it be downloaded as a file and installed manually?
If not then can it be removed from the update list as there are a number of security updates queued behind it.
The code is 0xc1900104.
Any help much appreciated.

Of course updates can be download manually, and we don’t need to doubt auto update’s correctness.
From the following Microsoft picture, we can see there is not an official version code called 1904, the next version after 1903 is 1909, version 2004 means Windows 10 2020 year April feature update, it’s the latest version now also it is the Microsoft recommended Windows version.
You can update to this version by Windows Update Assistant or iso image easily.

Hello,
The feature update was expected to be named as Version 2003, but Microsoft named it as Version 2004 to avoid confusion with Windows Server 2003.
If you cannot upgrade to Version 2004 manually, I recommend you to upgrade via ISO file.
