Screen doesnt timeout.

I have windows 10 acer laptop.I have been using it for a year without a problem. But today the screen timeout function started not to work. It should be timeout after 10 minutes but after 10 minutes of inactivity screen goes off for less than a second and turns back on and displays lock screen.(Normally when I move my mouse, computer screen should turn on without the lock screen). My bios and drivers are up to date.

    Hi,

    You could try this steps and check if that helps:

    Open command prompt as admin and then type the below command.
    When the PC is on line power: POWERCFG -Change -monitor-timeout-ac 30
    When the PC is on battery: POWERCFG -Change -monitor-timeout-dc 20

    Restart the PC and check.
