Access Package expiry emails coming through constantly

Good morning,

We have a user who's access package has expired. He has then constantly been getting emails through telling him this has expired. They only stopped after he requested the access again. Can someone confirm if there is something we can do our end to prevent this from happening again? It seems to have only happened to this individual.
