How can I fix the "This app has been blocked by your system administrator" Error upon joining a Domain

Hello,

We recently bought a new laptop with Windows 11. Everything works well until we joined it to our AD Domain. After logging in, there is nothing you can do. Explorer is not working. You cannot click the taskbar icons or even the taskbar buttons. It will always show the error "This app has been blocked by your system administrator". We never have a policy like this in our Domain. This is the first time I encountered this problem. I have tried joining another PC and there is no error like this.

Anyone with a solution?

Thank you!

    Hi,

If there are no such group policies in your domain, please run gpupdate /force manually and see if this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hello

All devices running Windows 11 22H2 or later come with the Smart App Control option. Smart App Control (SAC) is a Windows Security feature that helps protect you against malicious apps. To turn this off, go to Computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > CI > Policy in the Registry.

The "VerifiedAndReputablePolicyState" value must be changed to "0". Then restart your computer and the problem will be solved. This problem is usually experienced on Dell Computers. Can you confirm if the problem is solved?
