Windows 2004 has absolutely destroyed my PC.

Hey,

This weekend just gone, I was forced to 'upgrade' to Windows 10 version 2004, from my stable 1909.
Since this update my PC has been torn to shreds. Everything stutters. Moving windows stutters, my mouse stutters, games stutter, the audio in games stutters. It is absolutely unusable.

I have upgraded all GPU drivers, and even tried the Windows 20H2 version as well, but that doesn't work either.

I'm looking for a way to upgrade back to 1909. I can no longer do this within the Windows settings unfortunately as I reinstalled my windows after downloading 2004 as it was so broken I thought there had been an error when installing. Is there another way I can get back to the 1909 version?

Any help would be amazing.

Thanks,
Nathan

    Assuming you have the 1909 installation media you can simply clean install it again.

    Hi Nathan,

    What machine is this?

    It's not necessarily GPU drivers. I recommend using the manufacturer driver update facilities or even just the website to update all drivers and firmware.

    @Nathan
    Hi,
    If you cannot rollback to 1909. You could restore an image of your 1909 installation.
    In addition, here are some posts with the similar issue with yours, just for your reference, you can try the method mentioned in them:
