long OS installation by 1% after unpacking the sysprep image

setupactbad.logAfter the next OS update, there were problems installing the OS on the PC, the installation stops at 1%, for example:

16:48:34, Info [0x0606cc] IBS Calling WIMApplyImage (flags = 0x8180)...

17:15:54, Info [0x06009f] IBS DeployImage:Successfully applied image. Destination was [E:]

no logs are recorded between these waiting periods, what happens is unclear, I would like to know which side of the problem is, there is also a log of a "normal" installation, there is also a noticeable delay, but it is short.

I noticed that this problem started after a series of updates, but some of them cannot be removed, in particular an update that includes fixing the edge installation error via sysprep.

I would like to know where the logs can be written or what I might miss in the log that prevents the installation of the OS. if there is a fix for sysprep that I missed, then it would be nice to find out too.

Since the Windows installation that you’re mentioning seems to be sticking around 1%, there are several steps you could try to troubleshoot this issue:

Turn Off Unnecessary Devices: Disconnect all external devices from your PC except for the keyboard and mouse. This will help us identify if there’s a hardware issue.

For a more general look at Windows OS installation errors, you can find the setup error log in the %windir%\Panther directory. If the error occurred after you selected your custom install settings, the log might be in the %windir%\Panther\UnattendGC directory.

You can also look at the Sysprep logs, located in %WINDIR%\System32\Sysprep\Panther you might find an answer in there as to what’s preventing the installation. Errors usually appear at the end of the log.
