Trusted Signing Identity Validation stuck in "In Progress"

We're trying to get our Windows app code signed and using the process described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/trusted-signing/quickstart?tabs=registerrp-portal%2Caccount-portal%2Ccertificateprofile-portal%2Cdeleteresources-portal

We have completed the Identity Validation request and noted that the process takes 1-7 days. We're past that now and haven't received any communications. The validation request just says "In Progress". This resource is in preview so I'm unsure on the SLA here.

Have others seen their identity validations take a lot of time?

You need to verify partner id first(https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/account/v3/organization/legalinfo) and enter the verified seller id while creating trusted signing identity validation.

We were in the same situation, and after submitting the same application once more, it was approved within the day. I suspect there's a big backlog, and it depends on who's reviewing, and how overwhelmed they are.
