Hello,
I'm having a terrible experience with such a trivial thing as exam accommodation (extra 30 min for English being a foreign language). I have passed 6 exams outside the English speaking countries, always had this accommodation.
Microsoft has my transcripts they know everything about me, why do I need to prove now that I'm a non-native English speaker.
I'm struggling to get this accommodation!
Convoluted instructions, no feed back, apart from one confirmation that asked to wait for 10 business days, that were overdue without any response from Microsoft.
Already wasted 3 weeks waiting for the response, then spent nearly half a day trying to get any support.
When I finally managed to get to them (thanks to VUE for their help), I was told that I need to provide a letter on a letter head certifying that I'm not an native speaker.
What if I can't get a letter head. If I'm taking this exam as an individual and not a corporate client does this deprives me with the accommodation I've been granted before.
All this situation does not makes any sense.
With AWS I just ticked a box and got the accommodation confirmed within minutes.
Why Microsoft need to be so difficult, in my case making it nearly impossible to get what I'm entitled to?
Most importantly - what can be done to improve experience of other candidates?
Maybe this Q&A will help me? Maybe Microsoft will read this?
Thank you in advance
