Unable to request for control in Teams meeting

Question

Hi Team,

I regularly have call with my friend over MS Teams and used get controls and work. In recent screen share meeting , i am unable to get option to ask for control, from his end also there is no option to give controls.

His hotmail account added external guest user in my O365 environment.

to fix the issue i assigned him one o365 license with All apps.

still the issue persist. Kindly help.

Please contact your admin to enable this feature for you in the Teams admin center:

As an admin, you can manage who can present in meetings and webinars and whether participants and external participants can request control of the presentation.

To manage who can present and request control, follow these steps:

1. In the Teams admin center, expand Meetings and select Meeting policies.
2. Select the policy that you want to edit or create a new one.
3. Navigate to the Content sharing section.
4. Select your desired values for Who can present, Participants can give or request control, External participants can give or request control (described in the following sections).
5. Select Save.

Got the solution , purchased Teams premium and joined via App it worked.

Previously used browser- Browser & Browser - App in both i was able to get control while screenshare.
