My laptop's mouse cursor is not showing up. I have tried connecting a wired mouse to check if the issue is with the touchpad. However, even the wired mouse is not working. The problem is temporarily solved upon restarting the PC, but it comes back after some time. I ran system tests and a component test on the mouse, but they didn't reveal any issues. Also I don't know if it is relevant or not but my battery has some issues I haven't yet replaced it can it be the cause of the problem

    Hi .

Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause malfunctioning peripherals. Updating your laptop's touchpad and USB drivers could resolve the problem. Search for "Device Manager" and update the drivers under "Mice and other pointing devices" and "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
