In a co-authored file, is there a way to see in what app another user has the file open?

We have many people editing in the same Word document. We know that the file performs better when people edit in the desktop app (especially since the file is around 15MB). Is there a way that we can monitor in which app (browser vs. desktop) people are currently editing?

Hi @Graeme Tucker (SHIPLEY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT)

Audit Log can help you, this feature needs the Global Admin account in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Locate to Compliance (If you do not find it, please click "Show all") > Audit. The activities can be "Accessed file".
