I currently have an email address associated with my account and a separate account with a Copilot Pro subscription. I would like to consolidate all my projects into one email address. Is it possible to transfer my email address to the other account?

Additionally, is it possible to transfer the $200 credit from one account to the other?

rossini martins Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, Thank you for posting your query here!

You can't update the email address that you use to access your account directly. However, you can work around this issue.

    1. If you have a billing account for an MOSP, you can sign up for another account using the new email address and transfer ownership of your subscriptions to the next account.
    2. For an MCA billing account, you can give the new email address permissions on your account.

To consolidate your projects into one email address, you would typically need to transfer the email address associated with your account to the other account. However, the process for transferring an email address or a subscription between accounts can vary depending on the specific policies and procedures of the service provider. For transferring a subscription, there are certain policies to consider, such as settling all outstanding charges before a transfer, the potential loss of RBAC permissions and managed identities, and the need for manual reconfiguration if transferring across tenants

Regarding the transfer of credits, the policies can be quite specific. For instance, Azure Free Account subscriptions are not eligible for quota increases or credit transfers, and each new customer is limited to one subscription with free access and credit

However, there might be procedures for transferring credits under certain scenarios, which would require approval and validation of proofs submitted

It's important to note that these processes can be complex and may require assistance from customer support or account management teams. If you need further assistance, I recommend reaching out to the support team of your service provider for detailed guidance on consolidating your accounts and transferring credits. They would be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information based on your specific situation and their current policies.
