I am wondering why, when I connect my Surface Pro 11th Edition to my Microsoft Surface Dock 2, the display does not extend to external monitors.

Hello, I have a new Surface Pro 11th Edition that I have connected to a Microsoft Surface Dock. I used this same dock with my last Surface (Pro 8).

When I connect my Pro 11 to the Dock 2, the "connection" alert sounds and my Pro 11 shows that it is charging. But the display does not extend/duplicate onto either of the two monitors that the Dock 2 outputs to. Never had these issues connecting the Pro 8 to the same Dock 2; Microsoft help pages note that the Dock 2 and the Pro 11 are compatible.

After I posted this on the "Microsoft Community" page, a moderator suggested (1) I check the USB-C->HDMI cables I am using and (2) that I post here.

Any suggestions?
