Credentials asked when saving a Word as PDF inside a Sharepoint library

Question

Inside Word for desktop, when I save a document as a PDF inside the connected Sharepoint library, I'm asked to validate the connection with MFA. PDF is saved even if I cancel the connection.

I can see on Entra log connection that the triggered app is "Office 365 SharePoint Online".

But don't understand why MFA is trigerred. No problem displayed on connected services or account on Office apps, Onedrive and libraries correctly synced and working.

Whether the account enabled MFA?

The reason why you can still save a document as a PDF into the connected SharePoint library after canceling the MFA connection is credentials are stored in the windows.

1.To open Credential Manager, type credential manager in the search box on the taskbar and select Credential Manager Control panel.

2.Select Web Credentials or Windows Credentials to access the credentials you want to manage.
