I created a "for the selected message" flow and can trigger my flow from the "More actions" menu of a Teams message expect for in chat with self. What I've tried/checked so far: Confirmed I can select the action from my own message in a chat with someone else. Tried different triggers for Teams in Power Automate but none allow you to select chat with self as the message type. Any idea on how I can use a trigger in chat with self?

Hi @ Justine Saylor According to our research, when you send messages to yourself, you cannot select Workflow to trigger your own flow. This is by design in Teams. As an alternative, you can create a channel with only yourself, and when sending messages in the channel, you can select Workflow to trigger your own flow. According to our research, when you send messages to yourself, you cannot select Workflow to trigger your own flow. This is by design in Teams.

Thank you for the response, unfortunately the goal was to use the personal chat to trigger the flow which as you stated is not possible due to Teams design. Would be nice to have the same capabilities with group chats in personal chat.
