Take a Test is not working properly. Why can students still see the test in a window once they have submitted the test and signed out of the app?

i've been using take-a-test app for about 2 years now. however, this year, some of my students are able to open a test in a web browser outside of the app. others, when they submit the test and sign out of the app, are still able to see the test in a browser window. they can't see their answers, but they see a copy of the test. this allows them to see the test and share it with others, which defeats the purpose of using the app in the first place.

    Hello,

Review the settings below to see if you can impose additional restrictions on how the tests are accessed and viewed:

    • For lower stakes assessments, such a quick quiz in a class, a teacher can generate a secure assessment URL and share it with the students. Create a secure assessment link
    • For higher stakes assessments, you can configure Windows devices to use a dedicated account for testing and execute Take a Test in a locked-down mode, called kiosk mode. Once signed in with the dedicated account, Windows will execute Take a Test in a lock-down mode, preventing the execution of any applications other than Take a Test. For more information, see Configure Take a Test in kiosk mode

    I hope this information helps.

that does not help, but thank you. the test should not be open in a secondary window after students sign out of the app after taking the test. something must be wrong with the app. please inquire.

here is a screen shot of what happened on a student device just today. Ignore that it says "your response has already been submitted".  If they hadn’t submitted the form already, they would see the entire test in the window, with all of the questions, and they would be able to copy it and send it to whomever they want. The window that you see in the image sometimes happens when they first open the test, but also happens once they've submitted the test in the actual app, sign out, and return to their normal computer screen. this defeats a major purpose of the app.
