Structured Outputs GPT-4o-mini Azure OpenAI Python SDK

Dear Azure Team,

I’ve noticed that Azure's Python SDK for OpenAI currently does not support structured outputs in the GPT-4o-mini models. Is this a known limitation? Could you provide any insight into when this feature might be supported in the SDK?

Looking forward to an update as I plan to use this in some upcoming/current projects.

    Hello Trosten,

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you are right - Structured Output for GPT 4o is not yet available. The team is working on it but no ETA at this moment.

    GPT 4o supports structured output now, it may be choice as the alternative option.

    I am looking forward to seeing this feature soon, will keep eyes on it and let you know if there is any news.
