    Dear Team,

If your VM server shut down and won’t power back on, the issue is likely with the host machine’s hardware or power source, not the VM software.

    Check in order:

Power supply & cables – make sure the host physically powers on.

Server hardware health – look for error LEDs, beeps, or BIOS/ILO/iDRAC/IPMI logs.

RAID/storage status – if storage is degraded or missing, the VM can’t start.

Hypervisor boot – verify ESXi/Hyper-V/Proxmox actually loads; if not, reinstall or repair.

Restore VMs from backup if the host OS is irreparable.

If the host doesn’t power up at all, you must fix/replace the hardware before any VM can boo]

    Best Regards,
