Microsoft Edge Extension?

If I have antivirus software installed, can hacker steal my information in edge extension (like metamask or terra station)? Anyway to improve security on extension?

    Depending on the Anti-Malware products, they are able to check and detect and remove malicious extensions.

    The best way to protect your device is to only install trusted extensions from trusted sources.

    For example, all extension on Microsoft Edge Add-ons is safe and they are being checked for malware and other security concerns.

    However, in case you download extensions from other sources, there is no guarantee about their security.
