To resolve issues related to Hyper-V, please follow the steps given below and check it is helpful to you.
Method 1: Check for Updates.
As the updates are incomplete or pending updates are yet to be installed. Open the
Settings page > Go to Update and Security> Click on
Check for Updates. Once the updates are installed, restart the pc and check for the issue.
Method 2: Enable hyper v through PowerShell.
Hyper-V can be enabled in many ways including using the Windows 10 control panel, PowerShell (my favorite) or using the Deployment Imaging Servicing and Management tool (DISM).
I would suggest you to follow the Microsoft article on
Install Hyper-V on Windows 10,
which contains steps that may prove itself useful to you.
Method 3: Perform an in place upgrade.
If the above methods doesn’t help, I would suggest you to follow the article and the video on
**How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide**from PaulSey… dated on 9^th^ August 2017.
Note: A repair upgrade is the simple process of installing a new build over the existing installation of Windows 10, using the Windows 10 ISO file. It replaces the broken operating
system files while preserving your personal files, settings and installed applications. However I would still suggest you to take a backup of your files and proceed with the installation
Hope it helps.
