Short term licensing

Question

A 501c3 client I work with is being told that we need to renew Microsoft Server, SQL and RDS licensing for system hosting they have but they are leaving the hosting service in 3 months. What grace period is there for expiration of licensing? What kind of bridge licensing is available?

What grace period is there for expiration of licensing?

1.For RDS licensing grace period(evaluation period), it is 120 days. We can open CMD as admin then enter tlsbln.exe to check the Remaining dates. We can purchase per user RDS cal(or per device RDS cal) for your RDS environment by contacting Volume Licensing Service Center support.

2.For SQL server grace peroid(evaluation period), it is 180 days.
we need to perform activation of SQL Server by enter standard, developer, or enterprise product key.We can purchase SQL product key by contacting Volume Licensing Service Center support.

3.For windows server grace peroid(evaluation period), it is 180 days.
