Multi-factor authentication MFA use Mail

Hi there,

in azure portal in "authentication methods" the "email"-option is also provided.
But if I want to login, it only ask for phonenumer.

Is there a way to use mail authentication as MFA?

Yes, this way is less secure, but we want to test something. Thanks

No, you cannot login via email. The details you enter there will be used for features such as Self-service password reset.
