How to fix Network Controller?

I don't know if this is something on my PC or my internet. I believe its a little of both however. I have ethernet if it matters in this scenario. Ever since I had to fully reset my PC from a virus my internet hasn't been the same. I first started getting these problems a few hours after I did my first full reset to stop my virus (this was in early November of 2023) I firmly believe it isn't the virus because I fully reset my PC many times afterwards to try and fix the internet. But it is still a possibility. Anyways, my internet is terrible. I either get 90-130 ping average or it just spikes up and I get 200-1000 ping. There's times where I don't use my PC for a few weeks and when I come back it doesn't spike up for a few days but stays around 90-130 still but then a few days later it spikes up again like it used to. Back then I was able to do almost anything without having network problems. I tried multiple times fully resetting my PC again. Didn't fix it. I tried troubleshooting. Also wouldn't work because apparently my Network Controller doesn't have a driver and my Network Adapter claims it has the best drivers installed. I don't know what to do to fix it. Troubleshooter isn't reliable and practically useless for me. I also had done many internet speed tests and while they aren't great with download speeds and uploading speeds, they claim my ping is always around 50-60 ping which isn't accurate either. If anybody can help determine what's causing the issue and how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate that. Thank you.

Why were you unable to connect the PC directly to the LAN port of the main router? Does Windows report any error messages? Post the error message you receive from Windows.

I repeat the question again: Do you have a MESH network?

I tried to connect my PC with the LAN port and wasn't successful, it wouldn't connect. I remember I had done this back last November and had good results however. I was able to get a closer Apple Desktop Computer that was already connected to the main router and ran a speed test on there, it had 30 ping which is better results than my regular PC.

In order to determine whether the cause of the problem is that access point or the PC, you need to temporarily connect the network cable of the PC directly to the LAN port of the main router, bypassing the access point and then check whether the problem is resolved or not .

I have a custom built computer so the manufacturer and product name may be why it doesn't have a name. My PC is connected to a router, however its connected to a secondary router not the main one. I think they are called "Access Point Routers" although I'm not sure. I also want to clarify that I have the second network adapter disabled because it doesn't work at all. I hope I sent the right things, I am not the best at computers. If you need anything else to help determine it though let me know. Thanks.

Is your PC's network cable connected directly to the router's LAN port or is it connected through the wall Ethernet socket or through some other device?

Specify the exact make and model of your computer or go to Start, type msinfo and attach a screenshot of the System Information page. Go to Device Manager expand network adapters post the screenshot.
