ddos protection is enough for prevent boot attacks without recaptcha?

Hello, I have website on azure cloud. All services in azure has DDos protection. I wonder that I still need to use recaptcha for preventing my website from boot attacks or not.

@murat razi Yes DDOS protection can catch Layer3-Layer4 Bot attacks but not Layer7. If you want it to look at the application layer, you can use Azure WAF to do the same. Hope this helps.
