Error code 0x800704cf ; Problem with firewall

I am using a firewall software with full access. I block many windows programs from accessing the internet so that windows cannot access my data. I also blocked windows store from accessing the internet. It gives error 0x800704cf. but I don't know which of the blocked apps is causing this error. One or more of them must be providing windows store access to the internet. If I approve which one of them can access the internet, the problem is solved. I will allow the least number of apps.

Hello! I'm sorry that issue still persists.

Please temporarily disable the firewall and see if the error still occurs. If it does not, then you can enable the firewall again and start allowing each blocked app one by one until you find the one that is causing the error. You can check the logs of your firewall software to see if it is blocking any specific Windows Store-related connections. some system processes, such as svchost.exe require internet access to function properly, so it's best to keep these unblocked if possible.

I hope it helps :)

You have tried everything but if the problem is not solved then try this. solution to the problem: Allow internet access to svchost.exe from the firewall application. Open the firewall application. Allow svchost.exe to access the internet.

If you are only going to use the ms store application or download the app, I recommend you to activate it.

I had blocked internet access in my firewall application. I blocked all microsoft applications, programs in exe format, from accessing the internet so that they would not receive my data. so think twice before letting go.

    thanks
