USB Webcam Not Recognised - Code 43
Hi
I have a problem with my USB webcam on my PC
The USB webcam works fine on my laptop and all my USB devices work fine using the USB ports on my PC which is running Windows 10.
When I plug my webcam into my PC it is not recognised and does not function in any way. I get the following description in device manager:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
The USB device returned an invalid USB configuration descriptor.
I have recently reset my PC with a clean Windows 10 install and all the latest updates.
I also tried uninstalling all USB devices followed by a restart but the webcam was still not recognised.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

2020-12-02T16:31:41+00:00 Hi
I dont belive the PC does have the drivers installed. I have been unable to identify any drivers for the device.
I tried updating drivers within device manager and I also searched on the manufacturer’s website. Neither route idetified any drivers for the device - existing or new. If you have any advice on how To find these drivers that would be helpful.
Thanks
