Microsoft rewards program question

I started using microsoft rewards a few years ago and got a few thousands points but then I lost access to my microsoft account, so then i signed up for a new one and been using that for a few months but I just got access back the my old account and it still has the points, am I allowed to redeem them or are they just void?

    Since you can still access the old account and the points are still there, you can still use the points, as the rewards expired when you did not earn points for 18 consecutive months, for reference: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement#14m_MicrosoftRewards
