Resolving "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred" on Windows 11

While attempting to sign in to an account that previously worked without issues, the message "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred" appears. This error has been observed on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on a Windows 11 PC, but signing in works fine with Edge on a Linux PC. Sign-in itself was recognized on the server side. Browser's settings are synchronized and supposedly the same.

Attempts to resolve the issue included clearing caches and browsing data, but the error persists. What steps can be taken to fix this error?

Hi! The fact that it worked on linux but not in windows points out to something local(windows system only)

Can you try using a private window(incognito) in windows system.

This disables extensions and avoids cached data. For both browser shortcut is CTRL + SHIFT + N

If it works with no application error then it could be an extension, cache or profile related issue.
