Share system audio problem

I am using MacBook Air M1. I'm trying to share system audio in Microsoft Teams, but it says couldn't install driver with an error message saying "couldn't install driver make sure you're using macOS version 10.13 or higher, and give it another try". Furthermore, I tried uninstalling the teams and also clearing the cache, but the result is still the same.

From what I've seen, the sharing audio feature has been an issue with Mac OS users lately as you can see in the following links:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/could-not-install-share-sound-driver-in-macos-big/43664da3-95eb-4447-aa03-07e892572dfc

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-public-preview/now-in-public-preview-channel-include-computer-sound-on-mac/m-p/2107853

Please try this workaround in the following links below explained how to share computer audio on the Mac OS by using the loopback app (paid version) or sound flower app (free version):

Instructions for the sound flower app (free version):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTXnyk7bgDU

Instructions for the Loopback app (paid version):

However, if the same error message still occurs even you already use 3rd party app explained above, then you can share presentations + share audio using MS Teams online via web browser instead.

    Please follow these steps below:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as the only recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.
    4. Join a meeting, go to the device settings > on the Microphone select audio output either from the Loopback app or Soundflower app depending on what kind of app you use.

    Dear Darshan,

I am Renzo, as an Independent Advisor and Office user, I'll help you with your question.

You could try with following process:

    1. In Safari browser remove all cache and navigation history (all time, all options to select)

    https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/clear-yo...

    then, go to:

    https://teams.microsoft.com,

    1. Access with your account, verify if you have access there to Teams "web-client", if it's work, try with following process to remove the Teams app cache:
    2. Close completely Microsoft Teams and go to the Finder (or desktop).

Hold the Option key on your keyboard, and click the Go menu at the top of the screen.

With the Go menu open, you'll notice that pressing and releasing Option will display or hide the Library choice in this menu.

Select Library from the Go menu (while holding down Option) to access the hidden folder.

4.- Go to below locations and delete these folders:

    ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams

    ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams.shipit

    ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/

    1. Re-install the app from below link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams...

Then Re-start Microsoft Teams and check app behavior.
