Hello,
I have been trying to figure this one for hours. I need to be able to apply Microsoft Team templates to new teams. I was able to create a template in the Admin center of Teams but have no way to apply them. My company is involved in property management and we create a new teams per property. We currently use Microsoft Teams as a one stop shop with Tabs, which includes , Sharepoint, Planner, etc.
I created a template that has these tabs added in the order we need. But when creating the team in either the client or Admin center, I do not have an option to apply a template like here:
Instead I only get this option:

I have the same issue, select from template doesn't show in teams client or teams web, the answer is not related to the question.
Hi cheminco,
I understand that you already have created a custom template from the Admin center, so it should be available in the template gallery here:
Please refer the attached screenshot for more details.
I hope this helps!

Hi cheminco,
I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.
Currently, Microsoft provides a default template for MS teams from Desktop/Web app or you can choose to create one from the existing Office 365 group.
There are predefined teams base templates are available that you can use to start with:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...
Also, you can use Microsoft Graph API to create a custom template, but please look for any limitation as these APIs are still in beta and continuously evolving.
