Camera problem

I am using Microsoft teams for online classes but from past few days the camera is creating a problem. The camera is not working in teams app but it is working in its web version and other apps . After installing new driver for camera ,the camera is working but it is not showing some features like show background effects ,raise hand option.

Regarding camera issue.

If you have an issue with your camera please follow these checklists:

  1. Please press Windows logo key + I to Windows Settings > Privacy > Camera. Choose apps that can use your camera, please make sure it's turned on for MS Teams.

  2. On MS Teams app click your profile picture at the top of Teams, then Settings > Devices. Under Camera, Please make sure you select the preferred camera and see a preview of that camera's video.
  3. For troubleshooting purpose please disable your Antivirus for a while: https://windowsreport.com/fix-antivirus-blockin...
  4. If you use a built-in webcam on your laptop, does your laptop have a webcam cover? Please make sure nothing covers your webcam. please see this video: https://streamable.com/oeh09b
  5. Please make sure you kill other apps that use your camera like Zoom call app etc from tasks manager, press Ctrl+Alt+Del then kill any other apps potentially use your camera.
  6. If MS Teams still has not detected your camera yet, have you tried unplugging your external webcam and plugging it back in? Have you restarted your computer?
  7. Are you experiencing the same problem when using MS Teams online? Please go to https://teams.microsoft.com by using Chrome and Edge as recommended browsers.
  8. If your camera is not detected please re-register the camera using PowerShell:
    -. Press Windows +X and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    -. Type/paste following and press Enter key:
    Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
    -. Close Windows PowerShell and see if this resolves the issue.
  9. Please make sure you install the latest drivers for your camera. Go to Windows start menu button > type in Device Manager > Cameras or Imaging Devices. Please right click your webcam from the device list then select Update Driver, on a new screen please click on Auto Update. Restart your computer so it can take effect.

    After transferring the  files from another computer also change background is not shown
