help with CATPHA in windows live mail. after trying at least 100 times, I cannot decipher Capital vs small letters and can no longer use email

I am apparently unable to distinguish between capital and small letters in the CATPHA "puzzle". The little sound device doesn't work. I have spent hours on this and must have tried all the "puzzles". I have to solve it to regain access to Windows Live Mail. Is there anything else I can try?

    Hi Mulches,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. I understand how frustrating it is that you cannot pass through the captcha challenge to be able to access your account.

Captcha is not case sensitive. You can type all the characters in either small or capital letters. You can also try different browser or computer to try to use the audio captcha. You can also read the article below for more information:

How do I enter the characters in the picture?

We would like you to provide us your affected email address for account checking. I created a private message area where you could post it.

To view the secure private section, you'll need to be signed in and click on the notification (which can be found at the top of the thread) that states "You have a private reply to this message. Click here to read it on our secure private message section.” or by clicking the "Private Messages" tab.

We look forward to your response.

    Thank you.
