    Hi Taylor,

Sorry for the trouble caused at your end.

Per your description, we understand that you can’t add the Trendline for your Scatter chart inserted in your Excel workbook and we tested at our end in the latest version of Office application where we add the Trendline to the inserted Excel charts without any problem.

So, first, we suggest you check whether your Office applications are up to date? You can refer to this article: Update history for Office 365 ProPlus (listed by date) to check the latest version according to your Office channel.

To check your version: Open any Office application (for example Excel)> Account> And check beside About Excel.

If you’re not using the latest version, please update your Office application to the latest version and check the outcome. Refer to this article: Install Office updates.

If you’re using latest version and Trendline is missing when you click on +, follow the below steps and check whether you can see Trendline:

Open the Excel workbook with charts> Click on the Chart> Click on Chart Design tab> Add Chart Element> Check it.

If it doesn’t present, we want you to provide the following for moving further:

    a. Screenshot of your Office Account page. (Open any Office application (for example Excel)> Account> Take a complete screenshot)

Note: Please mask the email address and tenant name to protect your privacy.

    b. Does this problem happen to a specific chart or all charts?

    c. Check whether this problem happens to a specific file or all Excel files including the new Excel file?

    Appreciate your understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Chitrahaas
