Hello.

I word for several schools in Costa Rica and we are thinking use forms to make test, but in some places we have intermitent internet connection and in other places we don't have.

For that reason I ask: Is there a way to use forms offline, for example, in case a computer lost the internet conection and the student sends the form then it is saved in someplace and then when internet connection is restored, then the form is sended to be graded?

Or, is there a way to get the form offline, then whe student ends, we can get the computer to a place with internet and now the form will be sent and graded?

Thanks

    Hi Rashid

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Forms is a web-based app and requires an internet connection to be used. It does not have any offline functionality. This means that if a computer loses its internet connection while a student is filling out a form, the form cannot be saved or submitted until the internet connection is restored.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas

The Microsoft Office InfoPath can be used for offline data entry. You can design a form template that users can fill out while their computers are disconnected from the network. InfoPath will be supported until 2026 as you have mentioned.

    Hello Ana.

I'm looking for a solution, I read about "Microsoft Office InfoPath" but I also read this will be supported up to 2026.
    Then, is there other option?

    Thanks.
