FORMS: no response received

Dear All,

I have recently conducted two surveys however i am unable to receive the response.

the targeted community confirmed to have participated on the survey, but no response is received.

Please help

    Hi Brutus,

    Thanks for posting back and sharing the forms.

    To protect your private information, I will have to remove these links. Based on my test, here is a screenshot of when I answered all questions and tried to submit the form. The Submit button was grayed out and the message said "Duplicate this form to use as your own". It means you shared the form with us as a template, not sharing the form with me to collect responses.

    Based on the situation, I would like to confirm if you also used the same way to share the form with others as a template. If so, it is expected behavior that users can't submit the form successfully on their side. You should click "Collect responses" to share the form as shown in the screenshot below.

    If you originally meant to share the link with me to collaborate and view results, please note that sharing the form as a template won't make me able to view the Responses of the form.

    Normally, you should be able to view responses in real-time when using the correct shared link. Please try point 1 in my previous reply. Also, what if you access and submit the form yourself (access the link from "Collect responses"), will you see the response?

    Correct this is related Microsoft forms.

    Do you know why i am not receiving any response?

    Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

    According to your description, I assume you mean the forms in Microsoft Forms. If not, please point it out and let me know.

    If so, please try the following suggestions to troubleshoot the situation.

    1. Please use another browser, like Edge, open the private window of the browser, go to Forms on the Web (go to www.office.com and click the Forms icon), open the form, and check if you can see responses or not.
    2. I would like to know how you shared the forms with users. By adding them to a team of Microsoft Teams? If so, what if you share the form link directly, then ask them to submit the response, does the situation happen again?

    1. You can contact your admin or IT department and ask them to go to Microsoft Compliance Center and check the audit log of "Submitted response activity", and check if they can find the records or not.

    I moved your question to the Microsoft Forms category.

    However, you need to elaborate on what you are doing, exactly. This is especially important if you are not using Forms but a completely different product or service.

    What was the process by which the responses were to be returned to you?

    Of course it almost certainly has nothing to do with Word, which is the topic of this forum.
