I cannot send emails

I have Office Home and Business Outlook and Windows 11- I have just transferred this to a new computer.

Received this message

503 Valid RCPT command must precede DATA

I have tried the recommended help but it didn't seem to do anything.

Anything else I could try.

    Hello Mitzi Black,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

I understand how frustrating and troubling this current issue is. But for your current issue, may I first get more information to better help?

    1. I would like to know if this problem occurs only in one email account? Or does this issue occur with all email accounts configured in Outlook?
    2. May I know what domain the email account with the problem is from, Outlook, Gmail, or something else? What protocol are you using to configure the email account in Outlook, POP, IMAP, Exchange?
    3. Does this happen when sending email to all contacts? Does this also happen if you send the email to yourself?
    4. According to your description, some troubleshooting steps have been tried, could you share the methods you have tried with me as well, to avoid the unnecessity of possibly providing duplicate troubleshooting steps.

If the problem exists only under a specific account, then you can try to create a new profile and then re-add the account under the new profile and then see if the problem still occurs.
