Hi Don,
Thanks for contacting us,
There are a few ways to put a text label into the centre of an object in Visio. Here are some options:
- Option 1: Double-click on the object to open its text block, and type the text you want. Then, use the alignment buttons on the Home tab to centre the text horizontally and vertically.
- Option 2: Use the Text tool on the Home tab to draw a text box inside the object, and type the text you want. Then, use the alignment buttons on the Home tab to centre the text box with the object.
- Option 3: Insert a text field into the object using the Field button on the Insert tab. You can choose from various categories of fields, such as Date/Time, Document Info, Shape Data, etc. Then, use the alignment buttons on the Home tab to centre the text field with the object.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
Regards, Sola
