Microsoft Loop for personal use?

I've really become fond of using Microsoft Loop for work, and have become very familiar with its different components. I've just started attending courses at university and would really like to use Loop to take notes, as it's a lot less clunky than OneNote (which I've used for years), especially because I have some software classes where the code component is really nice - something that OneNote lacks entirely.

I can't figure out whether I'll continue to be able to use Loop after the grade period ends at the end of this year - and if I'll be able to still create new workspaces. I have a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.

    Dear Nicklas Lindsten

    Thank you for your reply.

Then you don't have to worry about data transfer due to different accounts. You can log into your personal account directly in Loop to use it, and the data in Loop will be synced via OneDrive.

I hope the above information is useful to you.

    Thanks for the quick response!

To answer your question: For note-taking I'd be using my personal Microsoft 365 account; not a school account.

    Dear Nicklas Lindsten

Thank you for raising your concerns in the Microsoft Community.

We understand that you want to ask if you can use Loop with Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.

First of all, yes, you can use Loop with a Personal subscription.

Regarding your description, I need to confirm with you if the account you are currently using is a personal account or a school account?

If the subscription is on your personal account, you can always use this account to log in to Loop for use. If the subscription is on your school account, confirm how long the Microsoft 365 subscription is on the school account and back up the data in Loop so you can still access Loop if the school account is unavailable later.

I hope the above information is helpful. If you need further help, feel free to reply.

    Best Regards,
