Hi,

Would a forest trust between a child domain and another forest possible? We have a domain a.com, its child b.a.com and then another forest c.com.

I understand i can have forest trust between a.com and c.com , but is it possible to have forest trust setup between DC at b.a.com and c.com?

Thanks,

    Hi,
A forest trust can only be created between a forest root domain in one forest and a forest root domain in another forest.
An external trust can be cteated in your situation.
