    Hello Muhammed,

    Common fixes for notification issues

    • Check notification settings. Ensure that app notifications are enabled for the authenticator app in your phone's system settings. This is often the most common cause.
    • Check your internet connection. The app requires a stable internet connection to receive push notifications. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue is with your network.
    • Restart your phone. A simple restart can fix background processes that may be interfering with the app.
    • Check for conflicting modes. Make sure your phone is not in "Do Not Disturb," "Quiet," or a similar mode that suppresses notifications.
    • Turn off battery optimization (Android). Some Android settings can restrict apps from running in the background. Navigate to your app settings, find the authenticator app, and disable battery optimization for it.
    • Ensure correct time and date settings. A mismatch between your phone's clock and the server's time can cause a synchronization failure. Set your phone's date and time to "Automatic".

For a new or different phone

If you recently switched to a new phone, the push notifications are likely still being sent to your old device.

    • Remove the old device from your account. Visit your account's security info page and remove the authenticator app entry associated with your old device.
    • Set up the app again on the new phone. After removing the old device, add a new authenticator method. A QR code will appear, which you can scan with the app on your new phone to link it.

    Regards,

    Raviteja M.
