I noticed a quick detail in the screenshot. Your post is tagged as Windows 10, but the error window actually has rounded corners, which is a design trait specific to Windows 11.

Before providing the troubleshooting steps, could you please clarify the following?

Did you recently upgrade to Windows 11?
Or are you using any third-party customization software or themes to make your Windows 10 look like Windows 11?

Confirming this is very important, as interface customization tools can sometimes conflict with system files and trigger this exact "Bad Image" error. Once I know your exact version, I can provide the correct solution.

Since Windows 11 is the operating system in use, the solutions can target the exact tools and paths for this version.

The ruximih.exe process belongs to the Microsoft Reusable User Experience Integration Manager. It handles Windows Update notifications and checks system readiness. The error status 0xc0e90002 indicates that the RUXIMPHDialogHandlers.dll file is corrupted.

I suggest doing the following:

1 = Use the system file checker to repair corrupted system files.

Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".

Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup sfc /scannow

Note: Pay close attention to the results of the commands. This will help you determine whether the procedure was completed successfully or if there was a problem. If you get any errors, let me know the error message that was displayed.

Restart (not shutdown) the PC and see if the problem is resolved.

2 = Uninstall and reinstall the latest update as a recent update may have installed incorrectly. Removing it forces Windows 11 to redownload a clean copy.

Open Settings by pressing "Windows + I";

Click on "Windows Update" in the left sidebar;

Click on "Update history", scroll to the bottom, and select "Uninstall updates";

Locate the most recent update, click "Uninstall", and restart the computer;

After restarting, return to Settings, go to Windows Update, and click Check for updates to reinstall it cleanly.
