Hi @Dominic McCabe,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Regarding that you want to stop sharing in SharePoint or deny access.
If you're trying to stop sharing a file, folder, or site in SharePoint, you can remove access in a few different ways depending on how it was shared.
- Stop sharing a file or folder with everyone
- Select the file or folder in SharePoint.
- Click Details in the upper-right corner.
- Under Has Access, select Manage access.
- Select Stop sharing. This removes the sharing links and revokes access granted through those links
Remove access for a specific person
- Select the file or folder.
- Open Manage access.
- Find the person under the access list.
- Select Remove access, or use the drop-down next to their name to change their permission level.
Remove access to an entire SharePoint site
If the person has access through site membership:
- Go to the SharePoint site.
- Select Settings (gear icon) > Site permissions.
- Locate the user or group.
- Remove them from the SharePoint group or select Remove Users from Group.
Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
