so far, so good. I've located the chipset drivers but there is no option to reinstall. How do I do that?

DaveM121 921K Reputation points Independent Advisor2026-07-28T06:57:42.2133333+00:00 If the camera is working, but intermittently switching on and off, then the best option is to go to the support page for your laptop on the manufacturers website to download and reinstall (not update) the version of Chipset drivers, Webcam drivers and graphics drivers they provide for your laptop model.
If you have any difficulty locating that support page, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
