NXE: New Xbox Experience

The NXE for Xbox 360 is here!  It will automatically download like any other system update would*.....but, your dashboard is going to look a whole lot different when it's finished! 
*Assuming of course you have your console connected to the Internet

The new experience revolutionised my Xbox - felt like I had a new console for free.  The personally customisable avatars to define your online identity are pretty cool, and liven things up a lot when checking out your friends online.  According to microsoft.com:  "With custom Avatars created by the more than 14 million members worldwide, Xbox LIVE will have as many Avatars as Tokyo has residents."

There's also the introduction of LIVE Parties - you can create a virtual party with up to seven friends, through your console, and voice chat whilst game playing, sharing photos etc...

Xbox 360 is also the only game console to also be a Netflix Ready Device, meaning if you live in the US, are an Xbox Live Gold member and a member of Netflix you can stream movies (from a library of 12,000) to your Xbox at no extra cost to your Netflix membership.  More info here.
