Hello Team,

I'm freshly working with update management center( Preview) to patch my workload (Linux,win10,win2016,and win2019 VMs).

I'm starting experiencing some issues during the conifguration part.

1) for win10 VMs, i see that their OS isn't supported by Update management center => How do you guys patch windows client VMs?
2) I did a test with a windows 2016 Datacenter which was created with "Patch orchestration "Automatic by OS", and i want to create a maintenance windows for this VM in order to be patched, in this case i would need to disable the automatic by OS setting, and configure it only with the maintenance windows?
3) When i try to configure the maintenance window, the VM is greyed out :

Any idea why?

And as you can see the VM is configured with Automatic by OS :

And the region is west Europe, according to MS documentation, it support the feature

Any help please?

    Hi there,

    1. Using SCCM
    2. Yes, if you want to schedule your patches my Update Management Center, you need to switch to your patch mode as Azure-orchestrated (Automatic by Platform)
    3. Switch from Automatic OS to Azure-orchestrated (Automatic by Platform)
