Hello Team,

I hope you're doing fine,

I'm starting working with update management centrer to patch my vms.

The solution is working fine for Windows server vms, and for Ubuntu/redhad/centos distributions but isn't supported for windows client VMs (Maintenance configuration isn't supported, but automatic by os update is supported) for debian (Only image default patch orchestration is supported)

So here is my question, how do you guys patch you windows vm client (except with automatic by os update) and how do you patch your debian linux if you have them?

    Hi

are you using AzureAD join for your Windows 10 VMs? If this is correct, you can use Intune to manage updates on these devices using Windows Update for Business:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/windows-update-for-business-configure

Alternatively, you can use Azure Automanage - this will also support Linux VM's, the article here shows the supported Linux distros:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automanage/automanage-linux

    Thanks
