Automation & Control - Enabling

Question

In the Azure Portal , search bar when i type Automation & Control , i dont see anything . How to enable it. Anyone who has used it , please advise.

i am basically trying to automate Azure Update Manager using this option.

This is a deprecated (legacy) solution that was a part of OMS bundle (deprecated as well)

If you want to automate updates, you can use Update Management Center, that doesn't require any monitoring agents and it's a most modern way to manage your updates in Azure.

There is also Update Management with Azure Automation Account, but it requires agents, log analytics workspace and other dependencies. But additionally, this solution provides Change Tracking capabilities
